Event information

ISAC is open to all Shetland sheepdogs with pedigree & valid working book or licence (all grades). Other breeds are not allowed to compete in this competition.

The competition is organized in accordance with FCI regulations. Dogs must be older than 18 months, with a valid rabies vaccination.

ISAC is divided into an Individual competition and a Team competition.

Individual competition

Teams will run qualification runs (divided into categories and one open jumping). The top finishers in each qualification run qualify for the final, which determines the winner of the individual competition.

Of every individual course for every height, the first 5 combinations in the results of A2 and A3 grades and winners of A1 runs qualify for the finals. Doubles in the individual results will be filled up with the next person who has not qualified previously yet.

Every competing country will be represented in the finals by at least 1 combination. If there is a country of which no combination has qualified through ending in the top 5 in their individual runs, the combination with the best results from that country will also run the finals.

The individual final has the same course for all categories, and they are ranked together.

Team competition

There will be two open runs for teams in each height categories. The winner is decided by the combined results of the agility and jumping runs. A team consists of four competitors of the same height category (no mixing of the sizes allowed). In each run, the three best results from the team are counted.
